54th Annual Grammy Poll: And The Grammy Goes To...

Who do you think will be the big winners at the 2012 Grammy awards?

The 54th Annual Grammy Awards will air live Sunday Feb. 12, 2012 at 8 p.m. on CBS. Legendary Hip Hop icon LL Cool J will host this year’s event. In typical Grammy fashion, the self-proclaimed "Music's Biggest Night" promises to live up to its grandiose billing. Expect to see some of the usual suspects as well as some fresh-faced newcomers duke it out for top honors in their respective categories in hopes of taking home that coveted golden gramophone.

It’s the music industry’s biggest yearly spectacle. For artists, winning a Grammy is a major credential. And just being nominated also looks good on a resume.

The Grammys are also a great venue to see some of music’s biggest names creatively join hands with those they wouldn’t ordinarily perform or record with. Think Beyonce & Tina Turner, Alicia Keys & John Mayer, Lady Gaga & Elton John. I’ll do you one better, Elton John & Eminem. Nobody saw that one coming. See where I’m going with this?

In fact, you never know what you’re going to get by way of surprises either. The Soy Bomb guy and Old Dirty Bastard come to mind. Some will win and lose graciously. Others might not. Cough! Kanye. In any event, it should prove to be a pretty entertaining affair.

The competition is tight this year and some of the categories are locked in a dead heat with no clear runaway favorite. With that in mind I thought it’d be fun to see how you fare in determining winners in some of the more popular categories. Give it a try and see how you did when the show airs live Sunday, Feb. 12 at 8 p.m.!

I agree John! Adele is most deserving I think. Her talent is phenomenal and at a level very few can attain.

It's really sad that Whitney Houston won't be at this year's Grammys.
