Armed Robbery Reported in Bristol Township

County dispatched confirmed that township police were on scene of a reported armed robbery along New Falls Road Tuesday night.

 

Update: The victim of Tuesday's attempted armed robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank on New Falls Road recounted his story to Patch. He also relayed a warning to locals.

Original story:

An official in the Bucks County radio room confirmed that Bristol Township police officers responded to an armed robbery report along New Falls Road Tuesday night.

Police responded to the 4300 block of New Falls Road shortly before 8 p.m.

A subject at the scene reported two men robbed them at gunpoint, according to emergency radio reports.

A Wells Fargo Bank branch is in the area where police are concentrating their efforts. The bank closes as 5 p.m. on Tuesday, but maintains a 24/7 ATM at the location.

Police officials were not available for comment at 8:40 p.m.
