Bristol Woman Reigning Jeopardy Champion
Susan Jann's two-day winnings from Monday and Tuesday total $42,400.
A Bristol Borough resident is the current reigning champion on Jeopardy. Susan Jann, a 1998 Council Rock graduate, won the quiz show Monday and Tuesday.
Jeopardy airs again tonight at 7 p.m. on WPVI-6.
Jann, who now lives in Bristol, won $22,800 Monday and $19,600 on Tuesday. Her two-day total is $42,400.
Tuesday's Final Jeopardy question, which Jann and her two competitors answered correctly, was: In 1805 the second in command to this hero said "I wish (he) would stop signaling. We all know what we have to do.”
The answer is Horatio Nelson, a flag officer for the Royal Navy during the Napoleonic Wars. Jann wagered $2,500 in Final Jeopardy.
