Go out to dinner and help out a worthwhile cause.

The Buffalo Wild Wings location on East Lincoln Highway is offering to donate 10 percent of customers' dine-in food sales to the Detective Christopher Jones Foundation.

All you have to do is eat at the location Monday, August 20 and mention the Detective Christopher Jones Foundation.

Middletown Township police Officer Christopher Jones was killed in early 2009 when he was struck  by a drunk driver while conducting a traffic stop just off of the I-95 interchange.

Jones, who left behind his wife and three children, was posthumously promoted to the rank of detective by the community where he worked for a decade.

The Detective Christopher Jones Foundation raises funds to help the community and also awards scholarships to high school graduates. The scholarships go to students planning to major in criminal justice.

Donations to the Detective Chris Jones Fouindation can also be made online.
