Emergency Shelters in Bucks County

The Red Cross has three shelters operating in Bucks County.

 

The Red Cross is operating three emergency shelters in Bucks County and several others around the region.

  • Palisades High School, 35 Church Hill Road, Kitnersville, 18930 (Open)
  • Pennsbury High School East, 705 Hood Blvd., Fairless Hills, 19030 (Opens Monday at 9 a.m.)
  • Council Rock North, 62 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940 (Opens Monday at 9 a.m.)

    There has not been any official announcement on other shelter locations.

    The shelter at Pennsbury is pet friendly and food will be provided, according to Red Cross spokesman Dave Schrader.

    This is a wonderful service. TV kept saying Bucks had no shelters and although I do not need one at this point, the security of it being there if I do is comforting. Thank you.
