Expect a Weekend Warm Up

The National Weather Service is predicting temperatures near 60 degrees this weekend.

 

Sick of the cold temperatures? A warm up is in store this weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, we could have a high near 60 degrees Saturday and Sunday this weekend. 

While there is a chance of precipitation Friday and a small chance of rain Sunday, the sun should make an appearance Saturday.

Overnight lows will be in the 40s.

Here is the complete weekend forecast from the NWS:

Friday: Rain likely, mainly after 3 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 49. Calm wind becoming south around 6 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Friday Night: Rain likely before midnight, then a chance of showers after midnight. Patchy fog after 2 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 42. Southeast wind around 6 mph becoming calm after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 60. Light west wind.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44. Light southwest wind.

Sunday: A slight chance of rain after 1 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 60. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47.
