Gas Prices Drop 25 Cents in a Month

Where is the cheapest gas in Levittown?

Lower crude oil prices and cold weather have pushed gas prices down for the third week, according to AAA’s Fuel Gauge Report.

AAA reports the national average per gallon is down 35 cents from a month ago and the Pennsylvania price is down 25 cents.

In the Bucks and Montgomery Counties, the average price of a gallon is $3.696 per gallon, which is 2.3 cents lower than a week ago and 23.8 cents lower than a month ago; however, it is 22.1 cents higher than a year ago.

Power outages and distribution issues in the wake of Hurricane Sandy left some delivery terminals and service stations—particularly in Northern New Jersey and New York City—without electricity.

Many motorists traveled into Bucks County to fill up. The report says it is important for motorists to realize that this continues to be an issue of electrical supply rather than a gasoline shortage.

Locally, the cheapest price for regular is $3.48 at the Exxon om New Falls Road in Bristol.
