DANCE FOR THE CURE FOR PANCREATIC CANCER

Why go: It’s a Zumbathon!
Cost: $12 for adults, $5 for kids.
SATURDAY MORNING CHESS
Where/when: Bensalem Library, 3700 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, Saturday, 10 a.m.
Why go: This drop in program is for all levels. Teen volunteers are available to teach the game.
Cost: Free.
ADULT BALLROOM & LATIN DANCE TRIAL CLASS
Where/when: Central Bucks Family YMCA 2500 Lower State Road, Doylestown, Friday from 6:15 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.
Why go: Talk about starting the new year off on the right foot, learn a few fancy dance floor moves.
Cost: Free, but pre-registration is requested.
NO SNOW? NO PROBLEM!
Where/when: Historic Moland House, 1641 Old York Road, Hartsville, Sunday at 1 p.m.
Why go: They have the land, you have the snowmaking ability. Come make a snowman. No snow? No problem. Make a snowman inside and tour the historic home where you'll learn how it was saved and restored to the time when the Continental Army was camped at the site for 13 days in August of 1777.
Cost: Donations accepted.
FOUR WEDDINGS AND AN ELVIS
Where/when: Village Players of Hatboro, 401 Jefferson Avenue, Hatboro, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m.
Why go: Any play set in a Las Vegas wedding chapel and including an over-the-hill Elvis impersonator has a chance to be pretty awesome.
Cost: $12.
MADDEN TOURNAMENT
Where/when: Lower Moreland High School, 555 Red Lion Road, Huntingdon Valley, Saturday at noon.
Why go: Enough of playing the game online. Let’s face it, it's more fun to talk smack right to someone's face.
Cost: Free.
IN CASE YOU DIDN'T GET ENOUGH CHRISTMAS
Where/when: Glencairn Museum, 1001 Cathedral Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pa., Friday and Saturday from noon to 4:30 p.m.
Why go: See how Christians around the world have adapted the Nativity scene to represent their own national, regional and local cultures, in our third annual exhibition featuring crèches from around the world.
Cost: Free.
EXPAND YOUR COOKBOOK
Where/when: The Tubby Olive, 17 S State St, Newtown, Saturday at noon
Why go: Guest chef Jane Cohen will offer demonstrations, creating dishes with The Tubby Olive's specialty balsamic vinegars and infused extra virgin olive oils.
Cost: Free.
