Ralph W. Emerson Elementary School mounted two successful fundraisers in March, according to release from the Bristol Township School District.

On March 1, the school hosted its annual “Hats on Day” for the Foundation for Children with Cancer.  Kids paid $1 to wear a hat to school and the favorite hat in each classroom won a prize.  The event raised $525.

March 12, the Emerson Student Council sponsored “Twisted Tuesday” with proceeds going to the Ronald McDonald House “Change the Luck of a Child” drive.  The kids sold pretzels and raised $55 for the cause.

Actually there were 3 fundraisers. Another Twisted Tuesday pretzel sale benefited "Buck Up" for the homeless shelter!
