Store at New Falls Road and Veterans Highway in Levittown was robbed early Thursday morning.

A man claiming to have a gun walked into the 7-Eleven at New Falls Road and Veterans Highway in Levittown early Thursday morning and robbed the place, police said.

No gun was displayed, but the man told the cashier he would shoot him, a press release from Middletown authorities said.

The individual made off with a small amount of money and fled to the right of the store at 3:25 a.m., police said. Investigators said they believe the man may have had a getaway vehicle nearby.

The individual was described by police as a white male, 20 to 30 years of age, wearing a dark gray sweatshirt and light gray sweatpants.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call detectives at 215-750-3845.

Hours prior and down the street, the Big Lots in Bristol Plaza was robbed by a white man with a gun. No word on whether the two robberies are related.
