There's a new editor in town.
Hi Levittown. I'd like to take a minute to introduce myself before diving into covering the community. As of Jan. 2, I—Nicole Jenet—have taken over the reins of Levittown Patch.
I've been working with Patch since April 2011 when I became the Lower Southampton Patch editor. Because of that, you might already recognize my name. As a part of my Lower Southampton Patch duties, I have been covering the ongoings of the Neshaminy School District, including two teachers' strikes and contract negotiations.
And now I'll be covering the Levittown area. There may be some growing pains as I learn the ins and outs of the community, so I need your help in making my transition seamless.
If there's a new business opening or one closing, an ongoing community issue, a special school event or anything else happening in town, let me know. Please feel free to send me story ideas and news tips, or just a note to introduce yourself.
My e-mail is nicole.jenet@patch.com and my number is 215-218-8262. I will do my best to respond in a timely manner.
Also, feel free to post your own events to the site, add an announcement or even blog for Levittown Patch. And if you need help figuring out how to do this, let me know.
I look forward to serving your community!
