Police, Town Watch Report Possible Gunpoint Robbery Incidents

Bristol Township residents are on a alert after weekend incidents.

Local town watch group reports that police are investigating two incidents involving a group of possibly armed teens.

According to the Bristol Township Police Department's crime map, a robbery involving a firearm happened in the 100 block of Holly Drive in Levittown at 8:18 p.m. Saturday night.

A police official told Goldenridge Town Watch about another similar incident that occurred over the weekend in Indian Creek. The Indian Creek incident has not yet been reported on the police department's crime map.

The group of teenage robbers reportedly attacked victims in the Holly Hill section and stole electronics during the Saturday night incident, a person claiming to be a family member of one of the victim's told Levittown Patch.

Police told the Goldenridge Town Watch they are looking for two black males, wearing black hoodies. The suspects drove a dark blue or black Honda.

Patch was not able to get in touch with police officials on Sunday.

What is going on in Bristol Township PD? The conspicuous absence of crime reports over the past several months is contrary to what the Patch is reporting. What have they got to hide? Are they afraid that things are getting out of hand in the light of the layoffs of patrol officers and don't want the publicity? I suggest that George Washington get out of his Durham Boat, take off the uniform of the continental army, and put on his 25PD uniform. We need him more than the re-enactors do.

It is time for Bristol Township to report all activity that affects the safety of its residents to the public. I would also appreciate if the Courier Times would accurately describe the suspects. An example of their reporting ... "The suspect was seen running from the residence wearing a red baseball cap, blue jeans, and gray sweatshirt." Pretty good description except they NEVER tell you their race. Really....you can get the clothing description but not race? Reporting the suspects accurately is not being racist, it's being a good reporter.

Its time for residents to take responsibilty for their own safety and apply for their license to carry firearms, and carry every day.

All we need are more firearms. After the Newtown tragedy I don't think so.

Correction: Holly Hill is in Levittown, not Fairless Hills. My mistake.

Seems this is the only media outlet that is providing vital information to all of us. What does the Courier Rag get out of not reporting these incidents.Must be some sort of political agenda. Left leaning owners or editors unwilling to expose the failure of their leaders. Not politically correct to show certain segments of society in an unflattering way.

Hi Barbara,

I'll be moving to a new position in the Bucks & Montco Patch region. However, my byline will most likely still be appearing on the site pretty often.

Thanks for reading!
