Nu-Way Pharmacy Robbed, Schools Locked Down
John Fitch and James Buchanan elementary schools were placed on lockdown as Bristol Township police officers searched for the alleged bandit on Friday.
Bristol Township police confirmed reports from readers on the Levittown Patch Facebook page that a store had been robbed on Haines Road on Friday.
Reported to be armed, the robber hit the Nu-Way Pharmacy and was last seen behind the nearby 7-Eleven.
James Buchanan and John Fitch elementary schools were placed on lockdown as officers searched for the suspect.
The incident comes just days after the robbery of the Windsor Pharmacy earlier this week.
This story will be updated as more information becomes available.

these pharmacies should install cameras at the door and make it so an employee has to buzz a customer in!!

I frequent this store they are very nice people they have a number of cameras in the store but you can't suspect everyone is going to rob you. I am just glad no one was hurt. And the reason this happened is the DEA cutting back the amount of narcotics being produced. Honest people whom need their medication can't get it. What are people who buy it off the street resorting to? Anyone? Armed robbery.

That's not the first time that pharmacy has been robbed. I worked in that center for 40 years and most of my 40 years it was a safe place to operate a business.Sad to say when you see someone coming in or approaching your store you hold your breath, in today's time you just never know...... Windsor Pharmacy has been robbed several times.

the police,(which are understaffed, overwhelmed and underpaid) already are present on this road.mainly because of so much riff~raff living in the immediate area!! don't hear about this kind of stuff happening in yardley or newtown....is there any apartment complexes there that accept section 8??

Levittown is nothing but a dilapidated town anymore. Soon to be a crime filled one with how there is barely any jobs. Only corporate wage slave jobs, small business every where and corrupt government school district jobs. I'm going to move as soon as I can.
