Police: Purse Snatcher Punches Woman In Face, Flees

Bristol Township police also reported two arrests and other crimes.

 

Police said on Feb. 27 at 11 p.m. someone was robbed. The female victim was punched in the face. Her purse was snatched and the offender fled on foot. Taken were cash and gift cards. The value is unknown. It was reported on Feb. 29 at 7:11 p.m.

Jeffrey Fahnestock, 29, of Levittown, was charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property, disorderly conduct, simple assault, and possession of a weapon, according to police. It happened at The Dollar General on Durham Road in Bristol at 3:04 p.m. on Feb. 29. He was arraigned at District Court No. 3 with bail set at $25,000 and sent to Bucks County Prison.

Kelly Lyons, 27, of Levittown, was arrested on a local warrant, according to police. It happened at 8:05 p.m. on Feb. 29 on Bath Road in Bristol. She was arraigned at District Court No. 3. Her bail was set at $300,000. She was then sent to Bucks County Prison.

Sometime between 9 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. on Feb. 29, someone broke in through the front door of a residence on Old Pond Road in Levittown police said. Taken were jewelry and cash of an unknown value. It was reported at 2:14 p.m. on Feb. 29.

According to police, at a time unknown on Feb. 29, someone stole a bicycle from a Marion Avenue address in Levittown. The bike was valued at $110. It was reported at 5:26 a.m. on Feb. 29.

Police said sometime overnight on Feb. 29 someone broke into a 1994 Ford parked on Princess Avenue in Croydon. The vehicle registration and insurance cards were stolen. It was reported at 10 a.m. on Feb. 29.

At an unknown date and time, someone removed inspection and emission stickers from a location on Emilie Road in Levittown, according to police. The value is unknown. It was reported at 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 29.

Sometime over the last couple of days, someone stole assorted meats from the annex at a Norton Avenue location in Bristol police said. The value of the meat was $300. It was reported at 12:53 p.m. on Feb. 29.

According to police, sometime overnight on Feb. 29 someone stole three empty kegs from a location on Emilie Road in Levittown. The approximate value of the kegs is $90. It was reported at 12:48 p.m. on Feb. 29.
