Police: Man Threatens to Kill Woman in Croydon

A 65-year-old man was placed under arrest in the Croydon section of Bristol Township.

A 65-year-old New York City man was charged with terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another and harassment after an incident at the Croydon Laundromat on Route 13 (Bristol Pike).

Bristol Township police responded to the laundromat on Monday, Feb. 11 after they received a harassment call at 10:14 p.m, court records show.

The man arrived and confronted an employee who owes him money and told her, "If I don't get my money, I am going to kill you and make you lose your job," according to an affidavit.

The victim told investigators her friend witnessed the threats.

Authorities cited the same man two days prior for harassment related on an incident which happened on Saturday, Feb. 2.

The man is set to have a preliminary hearing in front of District Justice Frank Peranteu in March.

Proof that our mental health system is a failure. Years ago the public was protected by institutions like Byberry. This fellow will keep getting away with everything till someone does get murdered. Blame it on a weapon first though. That's how we do it now.

I am going to kill you **PLUS** make you lose your job? Does this sound funny to anyone else, or is it just me?

And "concerned Citizen", threatening to kill someone is a very serious thing, no matter what the reason. Funny that they don't mention how much money was owed. Do you threaten to kill someone over $5?
