A former Bristol Township woman will be going to trial on charges she tried to kill her ex-husband and mother-in-law
It sounded like a scene from a horror movie as Stanislav Kushnirov recalled Wednesday in district court how his 58-year-old ex-wife, Barbara Kushnirov, used a kitchen knife to try to stab through the door and into the Bristol Township bedroom where the man and his mother had taken shelter.
The man testified at Barbara's preliminary hearing that he believed his ex-wife was trying to kill his elderly mother on the evening of Nov. 17, 2012. He also told the court that his ex-wife called his mother an “evil woman” and threatened to cut off his penis.
“She said she would cut off my penis,” he said. He added that she told him she would wait until he was asleep before castrating him.
During the height of the 45 minute ordeal, Stanislav said Barbara kicked the door and used the knife to try to saw the lock out. Stanislav’s mother hid under her bed as the mother and son awaited police, who found Barbara in a nearby bedroom, according to testimony.
Barbara’s public defender, Ken Hone, asked Stanislav if his client and the man’s mother were ever in the same room together on the night of the incident. Stanislav replied, “Luckily no.”
Stanislav said he believes the incident began after an argument over a light. The couple was in the process of a nasty divorce.
Responding police found the bedroom door to have scratches and a hole in it, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
District Judge Frank Peranteau forwarded Barbara’s charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and summary harassment on to Doylestown for trial.
Barbara is currently free on bail.

Ok!! Let the jokes begin on this one. We really need more details and maybe a picture of two of the door and husband. You mention the following scratches, hole, knife, penis. Why would she want to remove the victems property? was he cheating on her? Did he provoke her somehow. It takes alot for someone her age to snap lke that.
