Son of Local Reality TV Star Killed
The son of Detective Sgt. Luddie Austin from the A&E reality show, "Manhunters: Fugitive Task Force" was shot dead on Tuesday.
The 18-year-old son of a reality television star was shot dead in a Tuesday afternoon murder across the Delaware River in Trenton, N.J.
NJ.com identified the gunshot victim as James Austin, son of former Trenton police Detective Sgt. Luddie Austin and one of stars of the A&E reality show, "Manhunters: Fugitive Task Force."
James Austin was shot in the chest while visiting the mother of his two children on East State Street in the afternoon hours, The Trenonian reported.
Both news organizations said a suspect had not been captured.
Luddie Austin served on the Trenton police force years and the military overseas before retiring from law enforcement in 2011.
The officer, who served on the task force featured on the small screen, said in his A&E biography that he joined the department to try to make the neighborhoods where he grew up a safer place.

Concerned Idiot, just stop posting. Half of your posts make zero sense, you can’t spell and your grammar looks like that of a 3rd grader. Please just do us all a favor and stop. Perhaps ask McDonald’s if they can give you some overtime to keep you off of the computer. Thanks!

Having 2 kids doesn't make you a bad person idiot! Haha nor does it give you a reason to "guess why but won't say" he was shot...let me guess he was in Trenton so it must be drugs? Well I know a lot of people in Trenton and areas like it that don't do drugs and are great people but can't move because they can't afford it...simple minded people amuse me lol

I know Im gonna catch hell for this comment, but Luddie was VERY well known on the streets of Trenton, and lets just say he was a dirty cop. I ALWAYS wondered how he scored a role on that television program because he had a dirty reputation. Towards the end of his career with Trenton PD, he took the A and E gig strictly for the money and the noteriety. Sadly, the streets of Trenton have always been a mess, and the fact that one less dirty cop is running around, the streets are slightly better off. He retired young and early before the fact that he was dirty became public knowledge.

I don't do drugs and my post does make sense. I don't know if he's a dirty cop or not I'm not from Trenton never said I was. I simply said in regards to the comment above that having 2 kids doesn't make you a bad person nor does living in Trenton or areas like Trenton make you a bad person. The first "concerned citizen" isn't me I actually didn't even realize that was their name until just now. So before you call me a simpleton make sure you read my comment. In mine everything is spelled correctly and it makes sense. Also I wasn't saying you were simple minded it was towards the 2nd comment on this post. Just in case you misread it and thought it was about you...

It is what it is!!! Call it the way you see it, cause if you dont I will! The fact that this kid had 2 children and he was only 18 years old isnt so un-commom in the black community. In fact, its almost the norm! Most black males nowadays have their first child before they are 21 years old. And more times than not, the welfare system ends up taking care of these kids. I know.....some people are gonna call me racist, but Im not racist. I liked to be called a "truth-ist"! Statistics dont lie. Was he a bad kid because he had 2 children already at the age of 18...no of course not. It just shows that he fell into the traps that most young black men fall into. Is it probable that his choice of lifetstyle was ultimately the reason he was murdered? More than likely, but thats how it goes in the inner city ghettos. Trenton is a war zone thats ravaged on a daily basis by its own people. Sad but thats how it is.

I'm a 21 year old white female and I have a 2 year old child. I'm not on welfare. And your comment about the black people being on welfare is irrelevant because there's more white people on it. It doesn't matter what race you are. 90% of people on welfare are just lazy the other 10% actually need it. Regardless of race. Also you don't know his life style so you shouldn't assume.

Alex Dearson....Im curious....does your child's father happen to be black? I may be wrong, but then again I might not be. I just have this feeling. And your wrong! Better go and get re-schooled on your statistics! Your 21 years old and dont know anything about nothing yet. When you get some life experience like I have, then you can come correct me. Take a walk through Trenton sometime and take a gander at what its own people have done to it. Trenton is a hell hole and the only people to blame are the people that live there. And since your so up on your statistics, tell me something...what race of people are the majority of people that live in Trenton??? Hmmmm....

No he's white. Which I don't see why his race is your concern?? and I lived in Kensington for 8 years when I was younger and was also homeless living on a baseball field. So don't tell me to get the life experience you have because I will bet my life I've seen and been through more stuff by the time i was 13 then you have in your whole life. You're just a racist prick that has your head so far up your damn ass that all you see is black and white. Get a damn grip on reality white people are just as bad as the worst black person and black people are just as good as the most successful white person. I don't understand why you're so concerned about what race someone is when that really has nothing to do with anything. You can be the biggest scumbag in the world and be black or white. You could be the best person in the world and be black or white. So please tell me what race has to do with anything. And the comment regarding if my child's father was black. If love to know why you thought that...
