Tire Slashings, Thefts, Burglary & More Reported in Middletown

Middletown police are looking for any person who witnessed the theft of collectable coins.

 

Monday, November 19

Theft From Vehicle

About $1,500 worth of Echo landscaping trimmers were taken from the unlocked toolbox of GMC truck overnight on Sweetgum Road.

Wednesday, November 21

Burglary

A home in the 100 block of Terrace Road in Levittown was broken into between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. A Mac laptop and a Playstation 3 were taken during the burglary. The items are estimated to be worth over $1,500.

Saturday, November 24

DUI

A 30-year-old Newtown resident was arrested for DUI on New Falls Road just after 6 p.m.

Tire Slashings

Between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m., six different houses on Handy, Harvest and Hardy roads had their vehicle tires slashed. Falls Township had a similar crime occur around the same time.

Sunday, November 25

Theft

Two males in a silver companct car, possible a Honda, stole bags of collectable coins from the back of a van that was being unloaded on Fieldstone Road. Witnesses are urged to contact detectives at 215-750-3845.

Monday, November 26

Retail Theft

An 18-year-old Yardley man was arrested for stealing $162 worth of merchandice from the Macy's at the Oxford Valley Mall.

Theft

A large amount of wire was taken from a construction site on Lipton Lane in the Langhorne section of the township overnight. The wire is estimated to be worth thousands of dollars.
