Traffic Stop for Expired Registration Ends in DUI Charges
State Police released recent crime information, including charges for DUI.
A Bristol man was pulled over for having expired registration, then was arrested for driving under the influence, state police said.
According to recent state police reports, Trooper Kevin Lee observed a Silver, Acura RSX with expired registration while on patrol on Jan. 29 at 1:35 a.m. The vehicle's operator was also seen swerving on 95 N at mile marker 37.9 in Bensalem, police said.
Lee initiated a traffic stop and after further investigation, the operator of the Acura, a 26-year-old male from Bristol, was found to be intoxicated, the report said. The man failed field sobriety tests and was then arrested for driving under the influence.
Charges are filed in relation to DUI at Magisterial District Court, police said.
