On July 11 at 1:14 a.m., state police from the Trevose station responded to I-95 southbound at Exit 40 in Bristol for a reported motorcycle crash.

According to an accident report, the motorcycle crossed several lanes and the emergency turnaround before striking an electronic speed indicator. The driver tumbled off the motorcycle, landing on the guide rail. His motorcycle traveled 217 feet from where it struck the guide rail.

Police said the driver Troy L. Wilson, 37, died as a result of the crash.

Trooper Dung Martinez investigated the incident. He was assisted on scene by Philadelphia troopers, Bensalem police, firefighters and EMS.
