My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Christina “Tina” Szymanek.,

All residential and commercial areas should have sidewalks, more people are walking and drivers are more distracted we need to keep the walkers and drivers safe from such a tragedy.

The townships had the perfect chance to promote pedestrian and driver safety by installing sidewalks as a part of the re-vitalization of Rt. 13. Sidewalks were a deal breaker for one of the parties.

My son John Rearick was a victim of a hit and run on July 22, 2012 on New Falls Road. John was walking in the street because there are NO SIDEWALKS ON NEW FALLS ROAD AS WELL AS NO SHOULKDER and unmaintained brushes over the grassy slanted area where most people walk during the day. John Died from his injuries on July 28, 2012. As drivers become more distracted and more people are walking accidents will increase.

I stated a petition for sidewalks for New Falls Road.

God Bless Sharon Soliwoda Rearick
