Authorities in Bristol and Middletown townships are investigating four burglaries that happened late last week.

Bristol police responded to a reported burglary in on North Kenwood Drive in the Levittown section last Thursday at 5:42 p.m. The thieves are believed to have gained entry into the home late in the afternoon through an unlocked window and took jewelry and a DVD. Police report the value of the items at $1,500.

On the same day, authorities responded to the Langhorne of Middletown for a burglary on Wyoming Avenue. The unlocked home was entered during the day and suffered the theft of an HP laptop, police said.

Two overnight Thursday into Friday burglaries were reported in Bristol Township.

According to police, A 47-inch Philips TV was swiped by suspect(s) that entered through a “secured” window, The value of the TV was $2,300.

A home on Youngbirch Road in Levittown was victimized and an unknown amount of cash was taken. The suspects entered by breaking a window, police said.

On Saturday, police in Bristol Township arrested Charles Fisher, 18, of Yardley, and 19-year-old Falls resident James Mayger after police allegedly caught them fleeing the scene of a burglary in the Crabtree section of Levittown, PhillyBurbs.com reported. A 17-year-old will likely be charged along with the young men.

The story states that the suspects were working to burglarize a house when police arrived and they tried to run.

Police have not charged the teens in connection with any other burglaries aside from the Crabtree section incident.

Fisher and Mayger were  both charged with felony counts of burglary and conspiracy, along with several other misdemeanor charges, court records show.

Records show the duo was bailed out on 10 percent of $50,000.
