The accident happened at 10:12 p.m. near mile-marker 36.5 just north of exit 37, a police report said. A woman was charged with harassment and then requested to be taken in for a mental health evaluation, according to reports from state police. A resident of the 300 block of Hill Avenue in Langhorne on Jan. 31 called 911 to report that his ex-wife was harassing him, Pennsylvania State Police reported. Hartnett ran a check of a registration plate displayed on a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 to find that the registration was suspended for insurance cancellation, a release from the Pennsylvania State Police said. A Levittown man was charged with criminal mischief after being caught defacing a wall with graffiti on Monday, Jan. 7, according to a State Police report. The 24-year-old was seen using spray paint just after 12:30 a.m. to deface a concrete wall at the Durham Road overpass southbound on 95 in Middletown Township, police said. The man was placed into custody by Trooper Horlacher and taken to the Trevose Station of the Pennsylvania State Police, where he was processed and released, the report said. The Pennsylvania State Police Trevose station will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint at an undisclosed location this weekend. During sobriety checkpoints, police systematically stop vehicles to briefly observe drivers for behaviors normally associated with alcohol or drug impaired drivers. According to a release, the goal of sobriety checkpoints is to reduce the number of alcohol and drug related fatal and serious crashes and to reduce the number of DUI drivers on state highways.
