Attempted Abduction in Falls, Juvenile Court for DeGennaro Getaway Driver

  • The Falls Township police department needs the public's assistance with identifying a man suspected of an attempted kidnapping, according to LevittownNow.com. Police say that on Oct. 23, a 13-year-old girl was walking alone on Bristol Pike in Morrisville when a man described as bi-racial, aged 40 to 50 years old and approximately six feet tall approached her. The man had a large build, short, mostly white hair and some facial hair and a chubby face. Police say he was driving a shiny, light tan pickup truck with four doors and an open bed. Anybody with information can contact Falls police at (215) 945-3100.
  • The Bucks County Courier Times reports that Danasia Bakr will be tried in juvenile court for her role as getaway driver in the murder of Levittown musician Danny DeGennaro in 2011. Bakr, who was 17-years-old at the time, admitted to driving Breon Powell and Kazair Gist away from DeGennaro's home on Crabtree Drive after the two men shot DeGennaro during an attempted robbery. Bakr testified against Powell, Gist and Jermaine Jackson during their trials, and all three were convicted of the murder.
