Bristol Wardogs Win National Championship, Santa's Workshop in Morrisville

  • The Bristol Wardogs Unlimited 15 and under team defeated the Chicago Chargers to become the 2013 United Youth Football League National Champions. The team rolled through the tournament bracket all week in Plant City, Fla., ending their 2013 season in championship style.
  • On Sunday, the firemen from the Fairless Hills Fire Department will be guest bartending and waiting tables in the Pocono room at Puss N Boots Tavern, 942 Trenton Rd. in Fairless Hills from noon to 8 p.m. All tips made will be donated to their annual Christmas food drive. They will also have a box set up for any Non-perishable food items & canned goods to be donated. 
  • The Chiropractic Office of Dr. Gina Genin in Morrisville is hosting Santa's Secret Workshop on Saturday from 2 to 3 p.m. to help the guys out there find the perfect gift for their significant others. Local vendors will have lots of cash-and-carry items for sale, and gift certificates for massages and other great services will be available as well. Bring a small gift (packaged in a gift bag) for Solutions for Seniors, and receive a free chair massage.
  • It has been one year since the tragic shooting in Newtown, Conn. Patch invites readers in Levittown and across the country to take a second and share a "Note for Newtown." This is a special section on Newtown Patch where you can let the people in that town know they’re still in your thoughts.
