Bucks Commissioners Remember John Dougherty, Baby Injured by Hammer

  • The Bucks County Commissioners took a moment to remember the life and service of John Dougherty during their meeting Wednesday afternoon. Dougherty served as the Emergency Management Director for Bucks County for 20 years before he retired. He passed away on Nov. 2, and his funeral will be Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Mark Church in Bristol Borough.
  • LevittownNow.com reports that a baby was injured Tuesday night when two adults were arguing in Bristol Borough. According to the Bucks County Courier Times, the 11-month old girl could lose her eye after she was accidentally struck by a hammer during the argument.
  • The Pennsbury School Board meets Thursday at 8 p.m. in the Fallsington Elementary Multi-Purpose Room. The agenda includes an update on the Bucks County Montessori Charter School.
  • Showers will continue into the afternoon, with temperatures going down to 36 degrees tonight, according to the National Weather Service.
