Tullytown Santa Run on Saturday, Shelter Hosts Holiday Party

The Tullytown Fire Company has organized the annual Santa run through the borough. Beginning at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, the fire company will escort Santa through the borough, collecting toys and food for the needy. The scheduled route is: Kenwood, Stonybrook, Pinewood, Lakeside, Creek Village Aptmt, old Tullytown.

Former Levittown Lions president and head coach Keith Peschen waived charges of child rape, indecent assault of a victim under 13 and related counts, according to the Bucks County Courier Times. The trial will move to the court of common pleas in Doylestown. Peshcen faces allegations that he raped an underaged former player multiple times over a two-year span.

Levittown took a few hours Tuesday afternoon to enjoy some food and activities with a holiday theme at the shelter hosted by Family Promise of Lower Bucks (FPLB) a new homeless services nonprofit organization in lower bucks that focuses on working with families with school aged children.

The Falls Township Senior Center at 282 Trenton Road hosts a free pancake breakfast with Santa Claus Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.

It's going to be mostly sunny today, with highs near 34, according to the National Weather Service.
