- Matthew Schuler, Pennsbury alum and current contestant on NBC's The Voice, will perform tonight at Pennsbury High School East at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $10 and will only be sold at the door at first come, first serve basis. There is a 500 person limit on the auditorium's capacity.
- To celebrate next weekend's Harvest Day Festival, Bristol Township is sponsoring a recycling poster contest for children in grades kindergarten through sixth grade. The focus is to give students an opportunity to share their ideas about recycling and how it helps our environment. The theme of the poster contest is “How does Recycling Help Protect the Earth.”
- Carl Sandburg Middle School in the Neshaminy School District is inviting any area veterans to participate in its upcoming Veterans Day Ceremony. Anybody interested in attending can follow this link and fill out the registration form. The ceremony will take place on Nov. 8 at 9:40 a.m.
