Looks like we made it. After a long, hard, bitterly cold, snow-filled winter we finally made it to the first day of spring.

Spring officially makes its arrival at 12:57 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

Starting off with showers that tapered off early this morning, the day is expected to bring some sunshine and mild weather for the official start of the season.

And looks like temperatures will moderate to somewhat seasonal levels over the next 10 days, with some cold ones in the mix, as well but there is hope as the spring season finally makes it arrival.

Happy Spring!

Still a bit chilly out, but as I previously posted, the paths at Fellsmere Pond are practically ice-free.

Enrico suave.... Thanks! I need all the help I can get. Seriously though, that picture came from the clay pits on the White River in VT. Someone said it was good for the skin so I slathered it on. I was hoping it grew hair. Damn. It also donned a beer my buddies and me made in Natick called Muddy River Porter. Yum.

I think you might be my long-lost brother.

What spring? It's still cold and snow is coming to Northern New England come next week. I still have humungus mounds of snow in my entire yard! I'll believe it come May! (You're a good sport Steven.:))
