Easter Bunny Photo Experience at Oxford Valley Mall

Just in time for warm weather and springtime activities, Oxford Valley Mall will host its annual Easter celebration festivities, offering families the chance to participate in both traditional and unique seasonal events.

Kicking off the festivities will be Breakfast with the Easter Bunny on Saturday, March 22 at 9:00 a.m. in the Food Court. With more than 400 people attending last year’s event, reservations for this ticketed event are required and can be made by calling Simon Guest Services at (215) 752-0222.

Sponsored by Gymboree, area families can enjoy the Bunny Photo Experience from March 22 through April 20 in the Sears Court.

“Hosting family-friendly, memorable events is something we love to do at Oxford Valley Mall,” said Jim Malervy, Director of Mall Marketing. “It’s great to see so many of our families not only having fun when they meet the Easter Bunny, but making life-long memories as well.”

Additionally, the Caring Bunny™ event, developed by Simon Property Group and guided by AbilityPatch.org, a national online resource hub and special needs community, will offer families with special needs children a subdued environment to participate in the Bunny Photo Experience.

On Sunday, April 13 at 9:00 a.m. in the Sears Court, many steps will be taken to reduce sensory triggers, creating a more comforting environment for children’s cherished visit with the Bunny. The subdued environment is likely to include:

-Turning off in-mall music, stopping escalators located near the photo set, dimming the lights and shutting down fountains for the duration of the event.

-Eliminating queue lines through the use of a numbering system whereby guests approach the set when their number is called.

-Special activities geared toward the needs of the child during the ‘wait’ period to help the child understand what activities will occur during the visit.
