Hamming It Up This Holiday Season

Between November 6 and December 18, KMRD Partners Risk & Insurance Solutions will deliver 56 eight-pound spiral hams to Keystone Opportunity Center. This is more than 2,000 pounds of ham – enough to feed 250 families this holiday season. KMRD employees, minus the reindeer and sled, are making the pick-ups and deliveries.

KMRD was put in touch with Keystone Opportunity Center by its client All Holding.  Because Keystone has built a strong reputation for housing the homeless, feeding the hungry and educating adults and children in Upper Bucks and Montgomery Counties, KMRD knew its contribution would be put to good use.

All Holding, through its subsidiaries, Alderfer Natural Wood Smoked Meats and Leidy’s Simply Delicious, has been feeding hungry people for over 120 years. So KMRD knew it had the right partner.  All Holding offered its products to KMRD at a discount as a contribution to the cause.

According to Kevin McPoyle, President of KMRD, “Keystone Opportunity Center helps community members in need.  As members of this community, we feel it is our responsibility to join in expressing our support both financially and personally.  We hope our actions propel others to get involved locally this season to do something for someone in need.”

“We are especially grateful to All Holding for partnering with us on this program,” continued Mr. Dietzel. “They help set an example for other Bucks and Montgomery County organizations who are deciding how to mark the holiday season.  Company programs combining financial support with volunteer efforts can boost morale and camaraderie. Doing good as a company can accomplish the goal of doing good for the company.”
