Warrington, PA – Land-Tech Enterprises of Warrington announced today that it made a donation to the Warrington Fire Department.  During a short ceremony at the firehouse last night, Land-Tech CEO Mark Stein and President/Owner Jackie LaCross presented a $2,000 donation to the fire company and its volunteer firefighters to thank them for their incredible efforts during Land-Tech’s warehouse fire on March 14, 2014.

The Warrington Fire Department responded quickly and called in other departments to help put out the fire.  “We lost the entire warehouse and most of our maintenance equipment, but fortunately no one was injured and that’s what matters most,” said Mark Stein.  “Without the quick response and hard work, it could have been much worse.  Land-Tech is indebted to these volunteer men and women who come calling when you need them the most.”

According to the Warrington Township Fire Marshall, the two-alarm blaze was accidental but windy conditions made the fast moving fire difficult to fight.  More than 100 firefighters from at least 10 volunteer fire companies helped battle the fire which destroyed Land-Tech’s warehouse.  The company was so grateful for the quick response and the help of firefighters that it made the donation.

“We are so grateful that Mark Stein, Jackie LaCross and Land-Tech recognized our firefighters and their hard work,” said Warrington Fire Chief Mike Bean.  “We work in difficult conditions and sometimes life and death situations and we are humbled when people recognize our men and women. We will put the donation to good use.”

Land-Tech is a leading landscape construction business in Bucks County with expertise that dates back more than 25 years.  The family-owned company was founded in 1989 and employees 160 people.  The company is working to re-build the warehouse within the next six months and in the meantime, it will continue to provide excellent service to its customers from Bucks County all the way to the Lehigh Valley.
