Fishing, Quilting and Belly Dancing!

2nd Annual Carnival & Community Day

When/Where: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday on the grounds of Maple Point Middle School, 2250 Langhorne Yardley Road, Langhorne.

Why go: Carnival games, bounce houses, food and merchant vendors, a video game truck, special appearances and community exhibitors!  Funds raised will benefit the Langhorne Neshaminy United Soccer Club.

Cost: Depends on which games and rides you choose...and how often you play and ride.

Beginner/Intermediate Quilting Class

When/Where: 10 a.m. Saturday at The Quilting Circle 2625 Street Road, Bensalem.

Why go: Make friends, create something beautiful.

Cost: $45.

American Legion Riders Post 960 Craft fair and Flea Market

When/Where: 7 a.m. Saturday at 1537 Woodbourne Rd, Levittown.

Why go: Fun and good stuff for a good cause.

Cost: Depends on what you buy. 

Beginners' Bellydance Lessons

When/Where: 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Silver Lake Nature Center, 1306 Bath Rd, Bristol.

Why go: C'mon...you KNOW you've always wanted to try it. And drop-ins are welcome.

Cost: $10

Kids All American Fishing Derby

When/Where: 8:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday at Tyler State Park 101 Swamp Rd, Newtown.

Why go: Each child will receive an official fishing derby kit, one cup of bait, soda and a soft pretzel, children should bring their own fishing pole and must be accompanied by an adult and a fishing license is required for any adult who will be fishing that day.

Cost: $8 per child 14 and under (Accompanied by an adult); $22 for family (limit 4)

Que For the Troops

When/Where: Begins with team set up and arrival at 8 a.m. Friday, ends at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Falls Township Community Park, 9125 Mill Creek Rd
Levittown.

Why go: It's a BBQ Competition with great food, arts & crafts, children’s rides, live music and all proceeds benefit Liberty USO.

Cost: Depends on what you buy.
