Gas Prices Down Nationally, Up Locally

Find the cheapest gas in Levittown.

Despite an average 3-cent drop in gas prices nationally, locally, prices rose about 2 cents from last week, according to AAA’s Fuel Gauge Report.

In Montgomery and Bucks counties, the average price for self-serve regular unleaded gasoline is $3.929 per gallon, which is up 1.6 cents from a week ago, 10 cents higher than a month ago and 39.6 cents higher than a year ago.

The report does state that crude oil prices continue to fall as we move into colder weather. Crude oil, what gasoline is made from, dropped from a $99 a barrel high in September, to below $90 a barrel last week.

Locally, the cheapest price for regular is $3.80 at the the gas station in the 4300 block of New Falls Road.

If you spotted a better price, tell us in comments.

I would like to say it was amazing watching these future Hall of Famers at 8 years old fightingRead More through the weather and playing the 5 games in 2 days. They were tougher than many of the adults! I remember my days with Levittown American Little League playing in the 8-9 year old division and these boys would have taken us out! It would not have been close. Great Job to all and Congrats to Team Neshaminy...do you know how hard it is to say that as a Pennsbury Grad? I look forward to the next tournament!
