Get Out Weekend Planner

Cooking classes, boating certification and more for a rainy March weekend.

We hear it’s going to be a rainy weekend. While we hope that’s not true, we managed to find some indoor events and classes that will get you out of the house, but still keep you dry. 

BOATING FOR BEGINNERS 

Where/When: Middletown Township Municipal Offices (3 Municipal Way, Langhorne) Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Why Go: If you plan on taking your boat for a spin at the shore this summer, you need to attend this class. After this eight-hour course, you’ll be legally certified to boat in all states!

Where/When: , Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and all day Saturday and Sunday.

Why Go: The displays apparently rival the Philadelphia Flower Show, so it’s probably worth the drive.

OPEN MIC NIGHT

Where/When: , Saturday at 8 p.m.

Why Go: How brave are you? Get up on there and show us what you’ve got!

Pricing: No cover.

 

INDIAN COOKING CLASS 

Where/When: Snipes Farm and Education Center (890 W Bridge St, Morrisville),Saturday at 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. 

Why Go: Grind your own spices, make Makhani Murgh and ghee from scratch, and be surprised at how easy it is!

Pricing: $40 .

 

LOVE JUNK

 Where/When: , Saturday at 9 p.m.

Why Go: If you’ve recovered from St. Patrick’s Day, make it out for a good show and good times this Saturday!

Pricing: No cover, $2 Bud and Bud Light bottles.
