Festivals, theater, and more.

Another weekend, another Weekend Planner.  As always, we’ve scoured our events calendars for our five favorites in the Get Out Weekend Planner. All you have to do is go have a good time.

SILVER LAKE GREEN FEST
Where/When: Silver Lake Nature Center, Saturday from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Why Go: Live animals, live music, and live vendors with an array of green products for your home.
Pricing: Free.

FOOTBALL GAMES
Where/When: Saturday, Pennsbury vs. Council Rock at PHS at 7 p.m., and Harry S. Truman vs. William Tenant at Truman, 2:30 p.m.
Why Go: Nothing better than a good high school football game on a Saturday afternoon.
Pricing: Free.

RIDING THE COMET
Where/When: Heritage Center, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., Sunday at 2 p.m.
Why Go: Drama, drama, drama; American GIs trapped behind enemy lines during the second World War.
Pricing: $20, $17 for seniors, and $10 for children age 12 and under. $15 for active duty and veterans and $10 for senior citizen veterans. Buy tickets here.

WOMEN IN MUSIC FESTIVAL
Where/When: The Roadhouse Inn, Saturday from 3 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Why Go: An afternoon of all local, all female performers and bands.
Pricing: $10 cover, includes buffet.

BENSALEM FALL FESTIVAL
Where/When: Bensalem Township Municipal Building, Saturday from 1 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Why Go: Music, food, activities, and vendors to celebrate the community. 
Pricing: Free.
