Levittown Area Avoids Heaviest Snowfall

Saturday's snow storm didn't bring much snow to Levittown.

Disappointed looks filled many snow lovers faces throughout the area Saturday.

The snow storm the National Weather Service predicted could bring as much as four inches to the Levittown area was a bust.

Parts of northern Middletown received about an inch. Just several miles away in the lower portion of the area, some were lucky to see even a coating.

"This storm was a snowtease," Levittown resident Todd Miller said on Facebook.

No serious weather-related accidents were reported in Levittown during the day.

The parking lots in the area were slushy, but Route 1 remained wet,
Cheryl Anne Strausbaugh-Blood said on social media.

Accumulation north of Levittown was between one and four inches, PhillyWeather.net reported.

A chance of rain and snow is being forecasted by the NWS for Monday and Tuesday. The prediction does not call for much accumulation.
