More Mosquito Spraying in Bristol Tonight

For the last week, the county health department has concentrated spraying for mosquitoes in Bristol Township. It resumes tonight, Sept. 13, at 7:30 p.m.

The Bucks County Health Department, under the direction of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, will conduct an adult mosquito spray tonight, Sept. 13 between 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. - weather permitting - in Bristol Township.

The spray will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be limited to the following sections: Violetwood and Magnolia Hill.  These sections will be sprayed by truck mounted sprayer.   

The vehicles to be used will be a green 1997 Chevy pickup truck and a Green Ford Ranger pickup truck.  Both vehicles will be marked with the Bucks County Health Department logo.  The chemical to be applied will be Masterline Kontrol 4-4.
