Portion of Old Route 13 to Close Tuesday
The road will be closed until July 18 for the replacement of deteriorated drainage pipes, PennDOT said.
A portion of Old Route 13 will be closed for 10 days starting this Tuesday, July 8, PennDOT announced Monday.
The road will be closed between Penn Valley Road and Mill Creek Road in Falls Township for the replacement of deteriorated drainage pipes. It is expected to reopen by July 18, PennDOT said.
During construction, Old Route 13 through traffic will be detoured over
Penn Valley Road, Route 13 and Mill Creek Road. Local access will be maintained
up to the construction zone.
Crews will replace to two deteriorated drainage pipes under Old Route 13
that separated and caused a depression to form in the road, according to PennDOT.
