Here are some options for your weekend.

 

Maybe you’re going to celebrate Valentine’s Day a little early or maybe you just want to unwind a little. Either way, here are some options for your weekend.


Where/when:  571 Levittown Pkwy, Levittown, Friday, 7 p.m.
Why go: Time for the kids to let off some steam.
Cost: Free.

Where/when:  4610 Bensalem Blvd, Bensalem, Friday at 8:30 p.m.
Why go: Salsa is the perfect dance for the Valentine’s Day season!
Cost: Free.


Where/when: Neshaminy High School, 2001 Old Lincoln Hwy, Langhorne, Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Why go: The Broadway classic is brought to life by Neshaminy students.
Cost: $7.


Where/when: , 2804 Holicong Rd, Doylestown, Saturday starting at 8 a.m.
Why go: Concessions, food, t-shirts, raffles, silent auction and baked goods all day long. Oh, and basketball, too. A 3-on-3 tournament (boys & girls, grades 3 through 8) runs all morning - $25 per player. Starting at 12:30 p.m., the CB East boys and girls will have an exhibition, then the seniors vs. the teachers with several special guest appearances. And, of course, it’s all for a good cause.
Cost: $5 donation suggested.


Where/when: , 2002 Rock Way, Northampton, Saturday starting at 2 p.m.
Why go: The Onward Upward Basketball Challenge features a full court with a five-on-five format. The Challenge is refed by PIAA officials, and it's mission is to "have fun, and raise as much money as possible for children with childhood cancer."
Cost: Free.


Where/when: The Historic Moland House, 1641 Old York Rd, Hartsville, Sunday at 1 p.m.
Why go: In recognition of Abraham Lincoln's birthday on this day 203 years ago and in anticipation of the upcoming Presidents' Day, two children’s authors make history!  Laurie Calkhoven and Debbie Dadey will be autographing their presidential books.
Cost: Donations accepted.


Where/when: Bryn Gweled community center, 1805 Meadow Rd, Southampton, Saturday, 7 p.m.
Why go: Coffee house and screening of Inside Job, s a 2010 documentary
film about the late-2000s financial crisis directed by Charles H. Ferguson. The film is described by Ferguson as being about "the systemic corruption of the United States by the financial services industry and the consequences of that systemic corruption."
Cost: Free.


Where/when: , 859 County Line Rd, Horsham, Sunday starting at noon.
Why go: See Elizabeth Graeme Fergusson’s tragic story played out in vignettes throughout the historic home.
Cost: $12.


Where/when: Bryn Athyn thrift shop, 510 Tomlinson Rd, Huntingdon Valley, Saturday starting at 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Why go: Check out a major amount of jewelry – old, new and vintage, a bevy of Barbies, her clothing, furniture & accessories - some vintage and a large quantity of Cherished Teddies collectibles in original boxes – excellent condition.
Cost: Free to browse.


Where/when: , 100 Municipal Dr, Newtown, Friday at 6 p.m.
Why go: Participants will design a secret African symbol -- a dinkra -- as well as hear stories. 
Cost: $42.
