HATBORO SUMMER FUN FESIVAL AND CARNIVAL

Where/When: 6 p.m. nightly through Monday at Miller Meadow Natural Area, Horsham & South York roads, Hatboro.

Why go: The Festival includes thrill rides, games, food and live entertainment to benefit the Enterprise Fire Company of Hatboro and the revitalization project of  Elm Street Hatboro.

VINTAGE BASEBALL GAME RETURNS

Where/When: Noon Monday at Pickering Field, N. Chancellor and Jefferson streets in Newtown Borough.

Why go: Players from the Newtown Strakes will face theFlemington Neshanock Base Ball Club, a squad that wears uniforms and uses equipment from the 19th Century. The game is sponsored by Council Rock Newtown Athletic Association.

Cost: No cost for admission.  

BRING YOUR OWN PICNIC TO MOLAND

Where/When: 1-4 p.m. Sunday at Historic Moland House, 1641 Old York Rd, Hartsville.

Why go: After your lunch in the serenity of the picnic grove near the garden of native plants, walk the enchanting guided nature trail of Moland Park.

Cost: Donations accepted.

FLEA MARKET & PANCAKE BREAKFAST

When/Where: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the United Christian Church, 8525 New Falls Road, Levittown.

Why Go: Flea market AND pancakes? Are you kidding?

Cost: Depends on what you buy.

SATURDAY MORNING BIRD WALK

Where/When: 7-9 a.m. Saturday at the Churchville Nature Center, 501 Churchville Lane, Churchville.

Why go: See contrasting environments of meadow, marsh, woodland, pond and lake are all within an easy walk with an experienced bird watcher. 

Cost: No cost.

TABOR DAYS CARNIVAL

When/Where: 6-10 p.m. through Friday at 601 New Britain Road, Doylestown

Why go: Who doesn't love a carnival?

Cost: Free admission
