Free Groceries for First 200 Bottom Dollar Food Customers

The grand opening of the brand new Bottom Dollar Food store on Edgely Road is two days away, but potential customers might want to get started on those shopping lists now.

As part of the opening day festivities, the first 200 people who enter the doors when they open at 8 a.m. on Thursday will receive a free, reusable grocery bag filled with an assortment of products.

Former Philadelphia Eagles player Bill Bergey is scheduled to sign autographs after the ribbon-cutting ceremony between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.

Bottom Dollar Food will also donate $2,000 to local non-profits. The Bristol Borough Community Action Group will receive $500, and Philabundance will get the rest.

The new store's hours are Mon.-Sat. 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sun. 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
