Redbox Movie Awards Names Most Watched Films of 2011
The inaugural Redbox movie awards celebrate the movies that customers rented and loved in 2011.
As Redbox rented its 1.5 billionth movie in 2011, the kiosk video store celebrated the most watched and loved films of the year with the Inaugural Online Movie Awards.
Beyond the top titles by genre, more than 11,500 customers voted on fan favorites, according to a press release from Redbox. A five-minute awards show video, which can be seen here, showcases the movies that made renters laugh, cry and rent again and again.

In addition to the most-watched movies, Natalie Portman was the Most-Rented Actress at Redbox kiosks in 2011, with customers taking home "Black Swan," "No Strings Attached" and "Thor," While Owen Wilson won the title of Most-Rented Actor with "Little Fockers," "How Do You Know" and "Cars 2" gracing many DVD players.
The survey polled customer's opinions on most exciting movie, most-loved comedy couple, dynamic duo and "female who kicked the most butt." Here are the results:
