Shopping For A Sweetie?

Head to Oxford Valley Mall if you’re 'Shopping for a Sweetie.'

The free event, presented by Oxford Valley Mall, Jenna Communications, Philly2Philly.com and 93.3 WMMR, takes place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 21.

Fox 29 TV personality Jennaphr Frederick will emcee a date auction starting at 7 p.m. where local singles will be auctioned off for a date taking place immediately following the auction between 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Also on the auction block are Philadelphia sporting event tickets, signed sports memorabilia, a free weekend Mustang rental from McCafferty Auto, a chance to sit in on the Preston and Steve Morning Show from 93.3 WMMR, etc.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Lower Bucks County chapter of the American Red Cross, National Relief and Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Funds. 

Attendees can also enjoy light refreshments while listening to music by DJ Mickey G.

Businesses will also participate in the fun.

Hair Cuttery will be offering free updos for the ladies and free styling for men. Gap will be giving away some coupons and Macy’s will be donating gift cards to the date auction’s top 25 bidders.
