ACI Adjustment Group is providing smoke detectors for homeowners as a part of Operation Fire Safety to help prevent fires and save lives.  Many homeowners do not have working smoke detectors.  In fact, a very high percentage of all fire-related fatalities are a direct result of having a non-working smoke detector, or no smoke detector at all.  ACI Adjustment Group’s Smoke Detector comes with batteries and is 85 decibels, which means it will work with most alarm activated security systems.  For more information about how you can obtain a smoke detector from ACI Adjustment Group, visitwww.aciadjustment.com or call 1-800-809-4302!

Fire Safety Manual

Visit http://aciadjustment.com/services/operation-fire-safety/fire-safety-manual/ for more information.

The Fire Safety Manual teaches homeowners how and where to properly install smoke detectors, how and when to check them, and other vital smoke detector safety tips.  Also included in the Fire Safety Manual is a Fire Safety Checklist, and overview of electrical hazards, a list of heating and cooking hazards, tips for preventing cleaning hazards, a guideline for fire extinguisher safety, a fire extinguisher safety FAQ, tips for safely dealing with faulty wiring, a guideline for safe smoking, how to properly store flammable materials such as gasoline, tips for proper cooking over an open flame, and a guideline for safe space heater usage.

Fire Safety Manual also provides a guideline for what to do after a fire has already occurred.  The Fire Safety Manual provides tips for using Emergency Services, giving CPR, basic first aid tips, how to use an AED Locator, pet fire safety tips, how to prepare for an emergency and tips for staying safe during thunderstorms, severe winter weather, excessive heat, tornadoes, earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, building collapses, nuclear emergencies and terrorism.

Tot-Finder Stickers

Visit http://aciadjustment.com/services/operation-fire-safety/tot-finder-program/ for more information.

The Tot-Finder Child Fire Death Prevention Program is one of the most successful fire prevention initiatives in the history of firefighting.  Unfortunately, due to funding issues, this effort was halted and never restarted - until now.

ACI Adjustment Group is dedicated to bringing back the Tot-Finder Child Fire Death Prevention Program in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  ACI Adjustment Group is placing stickers in the windows of homes of residents of both states that contain children so that firefighters know where to look first in an emergency.

During a house fire, many times the homeowner is distraught, frantic, hysterical, or unconscious from smoke inhalation, or worse.  This makes it very difficult for firefighters to determine quickly where there may be children that need to be rescued.

Every second counts in a fire situation.  Fire doubles every six (6) seconds – that’s FAST!  A split second decision by a firefighter during the time of fire, based on a sticker that was placed by ACI Adjustment Group, can potentially save thousands of children from severe burns and death.  This is an initiative that ACI Adjustment Group is determined to bring back into full effect!

Pet Finder Stickers

Visit http://aciadjustment.com/services/operation-fire-safety/pet-finder-stickers/ for more information.

Those who have pets know that they become members of the family.  Many times during a fire, a pet can be trapped in the home while the rest of the family is safe outside.  Unfortunately, sometimes a family member will rush back inside the burning home to try to save their pet – resulting in human injury and death.

The Pet Finder Sticker goes on a window near a first-floor door in your house and lets the fire department know if there may be a pet trapped in the home.  Many times this sticker will give the pet owner the courage to save themselves and let the firefighting professionals handle any necessary rescue efforts.

Fire Blankets

Visit http://aciadjustment.com/services/operation-fire-safety/fire-blanket/ for more information.

Fire blankets are used worldwide to prevent small fires from becoming large fires.  The flame retardant material in the fire blanket makes it useful for kitchen fires that are still contained in the pot, small garage fires from gasoline, electrical fires, space heater fires, and works great as protective covering for escaping a fire in your home.

Operation Fire Safety will be remembered as one of the best community initiatives of 2014 in the Philadelphia Area, as well as Lehigh Valley and New Jersey.  For more information about this life saving initiative, please call 1-800-809-4302 or email info@aciadjustment.com.
