Area police experienced a call Sunday evening that they likely won't soon forget.
Shawn Malieck Gale, 22, of Philadelphia, was arrested after fleeing from police in Morrisville Borough following being caught with alleged marijuana during a traffic stop, The Trentonian reported on Tuesday.
When a borough officer asked the 22-year-old man to step out of the car, he noticed Gale was wearing ladies pants, a stuffed bra, a leather jacket and leather boots, the paper said in a story by reporter Brian Dzenis.
The story states, Gale ran from the officer, who tired to grab the cross-dresser by his pants. Then, the officer got into a wrestling match as he tried to handcuff Gale.
The 22-year-old then futility grabbed for the officer's side arm, the newspaper report continued.
Next, the suspect was tasered as officers from Falls and Bristol responded to the scene to assist. Gale ran and ripped the taser ammunition out of his body; most of his clothes were also ripped off.
After 3 taser shots, police were finally able to stop Gale and take him into custody, the story stated.
He was arraigned in front of District Justice Daniel Baranoski on charges of aggravated assault, attempting to disarm a police officer and simple assault, court records show.
Gale remains in county jail on 10 percent of $500,000 bail.
