Croydon, Tullytown to Hold Trick or Treat on Friday [Updated]

Halloween trick-or-treating was postponed last week due to Hurricane Sandy.

Wednesday, 4:19 p.m.:

Bristol Township issued the following statement:

Today, November 7, 2012 stands as the requested postponed day. The change was never 'official'. Municipalities made a 'request' for their residents to postpone trick or treating to November 7, 2012. Who knew we would have another N'oreaster? We requested the week postponement to make sure we had enough time to make the neighborhoods safe for the trick or treaters. If not for the severity of Sandy we would not have made the request and the decision on October 31 would have been an individual one for each family. Use your best judgement at this point. Please be safe.

No one knows what's going on, therefore I am just not participating this year. I am not going to be receiving trick- or- treaters for 3 days. That's ridiculously insane. There is no way that Bristol Township residents in Levittown, will ALL agree on ONE day, there are going to be people left out and that is where it is right now... too many chiefs and not enough indians... everyone wants it the day they want it and they can't come to an agreement for ONE day!!!
