Croydon, Tullytown to Hold Trick or Treat on Friday [Updated]

Halloween trick-or-treating was postponed last week due to Hurricane Sandy.

Wednesday, 4:19 p.m.:

Bristol Township issued the following statement:

Today, November 7, 2012 stands as the requested postponed day. The change was never 'official'. Municipalities made a 'request' for their residents to postpone trick or treating to November 7, 2012. Who knew we would have another N'oreaster? We requested the week postponement to make sure we had enough time to make the neighborhoods safe for the trick or treaters. If not for the severity of Sandy we would not have made the request and the decision on October 31 would have been an individual one for each family. Use your best judgement at this point. Please be safe.
