Davis' Levittown Office To Host Food Drive

State Rep. Tina Davis, D-Bucks offers the use of her office to assist food drive campaign.

In the continual fight against hunger, State Rep. Tina Davis, D-Bucks, is designating her office to pull double duty as a drop-off location for donations made to the local Salvation Army Food Pantry.

Said Davis, "Our local Salvation Army is having trouble keeping its food pantries stocked, so adding my constituent service office as an added drop-off location may make it more convenient for residents to donate what they are able.”

Davis added that her office food drive would run through November.

Residents can drop off donations to Davis' from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Collected goods will then be delivered by Davis to the Salvation Army Levittown Corps Community Center Food Pantry.

Needed items include non-perishables and goods such as canned meats and dinners, like tuna, chicken, Beefaroni, spaghetti and meatballs, ravioli; boxed cereals; boxed stuffing; instant mashed potatoes; canned soups; peanut butter; jelly or jam; pancake mix and syrup; boxed macaroni and cheese; boxed rice mixes, like Rice A Roni; boxed noodle mixes, like Lipton Noodle, Pasta Roni, etc.; spaghetti sauce; and bottled or canned juices.

These items will assist those living in our very own community.

I would like to say it was amazing watching these future Hall of Famers at 8 years old fightingRead More through the weather and playing the 5 games in 2 days. They were tougher than many of the adults! I remember my days with Levittown American Little League playing in the 8-9 year old division and these boys would have taken us out! It would not have been close. Great Job to all and Congrats to Team Neshaminy...do you know how hard it is to say that as a Pennsbury Grad? I look forward to the next tournament!
