Foster Parent Information Session, Carnival: Week Ahead

A look at what's happening this week in and around Levittown.

MONDAY

If the weather's nice Monday, take a drive to Washington Crossing, where the annual Upper Makefield Fire Co. carnival gets underway at 6 p.m. Rides will be open until 10 p.m. The carnival, held on River Road across from the post office, goes through Saturday. All night wrist bands are $20. The fire company also serves food and drinks.

TUESDAY

The Bucks County Children and Youth Social Services Agency will be hosting an information session about becoming a foster parent. For additional information or to register, call Roxanne Watkins-Hall at 215-348-6997 or visit www.BucksCounty.org. Tuesday's event is at Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library, 680 Radcliffe Street, Bristol from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p .m.

THURSDAY

Bucks County Community College's free concert series concludes Thursday with a performance by the BCCC Jazz Orchestra at the Newtown campus. Student musicians will perform under the direction of Jeff Baumeister. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m and is open to the public.
