Whatever the weather, here are some options for you to enjoy your weekend.
We have a really mixed bag this weekend. Saturday’s forecast actually includes the word “snow” while Sunday looks to be a picture-perfect October day. Whatever the weather, here are some options for you to enjoy your weekend.
Where/When: , Saturday at 9:30 a.m.
Why go: The annual Skeleton Skurry 5K & 1 Mile Family Treat Trail Walk will bring together children, adults and families rain or shine. Throughout the morning, there will be raffles, refreshments, a moon bounce, a DJ and more.
Cost: To Skurry - adults (13 and above) $25 and children under 13, $12; drop-offs or mailed-in registrations must be received by Oct. 28 at 6 p.m. at the Hatboro Y. The other stuff is free.
Where/When: Miller Meadow, Horsham and York roads, Hatboro, Saturday at noon.
Why go: A great event for kids who aren’t into the scary part of Halloween -- hay ride, costume contest and pumpkin painting will all be available.
Cost: Free!
Where/When: 1005 Cathedral Rd, Huntingdon Valley, starting at 10 .m.
Why go: At the Autumn Workshop, you’ll be able to make festive candy apples and play dress-up – Victorian-era style.
Cost: $5 (members are free).
Where/When: , 150 Buck Road, Feasterville, Saturday, 1 p.m.
Why go: It’s a family event for kids of all ages, with music , crafts, food, activities, and games.
Cost: $5 for residents, $10 for non-residents.
Where/When: Bolton Mansion, 85 Holly Drive, Levittown, Saturday at noon. RAIN DATE: Next Saturday.
Why go: In addition to lots of cool cars, there will be vendors, Chinese auction, raffle, 50/50, tours of the mansion, fire trucks, DARE and special events for children.
Cost: Free to browse, $15 to show off your car.
Where/When: , 345 Newtown Richboro Rd, Richboro, Saturday, 11 a.m.
Why go: Here’s your lineup -- contests for costumers, pumpkins and coloring, plus a costume parade, a fortune teller and FREE treat bags for first 300 children 12 years & under.
Cost: FREE!
Where/When: 320 N Sycamore St, Newtown, Saturday, 1 p.m.
Why go: Live Bands, Food, Beverages, vendors, kiddy inflatables, family entertainment. Plus the annual doggie costume parade.
Cost: FREE!
Where/When: , 135 S Main St, Doylestown, Saturday, 7 p.m.
Why go: Students will be performing the roles of the entire Rocky Horror cast AND will be playing the music as a band. Then there’s the annual Halloween party with food, fun and, of course rock!
Cost: FREE!
